Call for Papers

A joyous thank you to all who answered our Call for Panels and first Call for Papers! The program now has 33 panels and working groups for which we now open a second call for individual papers. Paper proposals may but need not to be pointed to a certain panel or working group in the programme. See here for the list of already accepted panels.

On Dec 8th there will be a pre-conference writing clinic “Kirjoittamisen ilot/Joy of Writing” for doctoral students of cultural studies.

Sending a paper proposal

Please send your paper proposal (250–300 words)  by the end of September 30th:

The language of the proposed paper can be either Finnish or English. Please indicate to which panel or working group you would like to participate. Papers that are not pointed to a certain session by the author will be placed in a suitable session by the organizing committee.

First call for panels: Mar 1–31, 2021

First call for papers, second call for panels: May 6–31, 2021

Second call for papers: Sept 1–30, 2021

Acceptance letters for papers will be sent by Oct 18, 2021.
